Interwoven: Sockpuppet presents a unique feeling of warm, comforting intrigue. With an anonymous main character at the helm, the book dives into community, connection, and the experiences that lie at the precipice of polite society. Set in a fictionalised late-1700s landscape, the book describes love as a freeflowing, sincere concept; looking past romance as an achievement and looking into the idea as an experience.
The characters explore their identities, lives, and relations with a simple-hearted sincerity, grappling with larger forces in the world around them.
Dear Friend, My story is for the folk who look for connection. For personhood that is vivid and complex, and mystery that undercurrents deeply interconnected darlings. The wonder in life is oft' the simplest things, and I wish to share my tale—however odd—with you. With a wondrous Duchess, a family of literature, and friends that stay immaculately bright-eyed; this has been the greatest joy that I have sought out since… Well, since the incident that brought me here. I love deeply, dear friends; and I tend to stand by it quite firmly. My demeanour is deeply radical, in more ways than one. Let us get acquainted, shall we? Signed, The Apprentice.

Suhani Raichura is an artist, writer, and flaneur-reader who thrives in all things creative. As a debut author, she has been conceptualising this story for over two years — building worlds, characterisations, and relationships between this luscious story. Her interests in history, art of any kind, literature, and thought-provoking writing shine in her work, presenting a fascinating blend of modernist takes alongside archaic language.
In her debut book, her writing speaks volumes of her research and observations, presenting a unique traversal of character and personhood.
